Anna Petrasian is a classically trained violinist who has been based in the United Arab Emirates since 2006. Over nearly two decades in the region, she has built a career performing at hundreds of events across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the wider Gulf — from grand hotel ballrooms to outdoor beach ceremonies, from intimate private dinners to corporate galas for international brands.
Training & Background
Anna’s foundation is in classical music, with formal conservatory training that gave her the technical discipline and musical depth that underpin every performance. That classical grounding, combined with years of adapting to the UAE’s extraordinarily diverse events market, means she is equally comfortable performing a Bach partita for a concert audience as she is delivering a high-energy Bollywood set at an Indian wedding celebration.
Two Decades in the UAE
Since arriving in the UAE in 2006, Anna has become a familiar presence at the region’s most recognised venues. Her performance history includes Dubai Opera, the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, the Waldorf Astoria on Palm Jumeirah, the Atlantis, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Hard Rock Cafe Dubai at Festival City, and the Sharjah Expo Centre — among many others.
Her work has also taken her beyond the UAE’s borders, with performances in Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Jordan. Whether the event is in downtown Dubai or across the Gulf, Anna brings the same level of preparation and professionalism.

Dubai’s event scene is one of the most culturally diverse in the world, and Anna’s repertoire reflects that. Performance Formats
Anna performs as a solo violinist, in duo format, or as part of a string quartet — depending on the scale of the event, the venue, and the atmosphere the client wants to create. She has also appeared on television, including a special performance broadcast on MBC.
